Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and ChatRid (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, booking a demo, or otherwise using the ChatRid platform, you accept these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the business or organisation you represent. You must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the Instagram Platform Policy, and the Facebook Platform Terms at all times.
The service
ChatRid provides a software platform that lets you connect to Meta's official Business APIs, build automated workflows, send campaigns, manage templates, and route conversations across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
We are an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.
Your account
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring the contact details on file are accurate
Notify us immediately at hello@chatrid.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
Your use of ChatRid is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things, spam, fraud, harassment, illegal content, and any activity that violates Meta's policies.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, in INR.
- Setup fees are one-time and non-refundable once setup work has begun.
- Meta charges separate per-message fees, billed by Meta directly.
- You can cancel any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Your data
You retain all rights to the data you upload or that passes through ChatRid. We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The ChatRid platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is our intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for the duration of your subscription.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scale plan customers receive a written SLA. We are not liable for downtime caused by Meta's APIs, third-party providers, or events outside our reasonable control.
Disclaimers
ChatRid is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement by cancelling the subscription. We may terminate immediately for material breach, including violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
